Though most of her (printmaking) work is mixed media or screen print, Nicci fell in love with lithography at Tiger Lily Press (Cincinnati) in September 2015. (Both images above show some of her first work & ink tests.)

Biographical Statement

Nicci Mechler splits her time between exploring, telling tales, and printing girls with inky tattoos. Her work has appeared on the cover of The Licking River ReviewSugared Water, and many zines such as Eye Candy and Figure 8. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with a pack of roomies & rescue animals specializing in troublemaking and joy. Nicci runs Porkbelly Press and can often be found at regional fairs & events slinging chapbooks. She is a member of Northern Kentucky Printmakers and Tiger Lily Press.
